python-actdiag software package provides generate activity-diagram image file from spec-text file, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-actdiag
python-actdiag is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-actdiag package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-actdiag *
You will get with python-actdiag package name, version, architecture and description in a table
